I choose the color from his logo on The Colbert Report. Finding a quote for this one was hard as they were all very long-winded or refered to something/one specific.

That one is kinda cool. I like the way you used letters for some parts of his head. It's at least a bit typographic and that's some art I really admire. It's a simple design but that works fine, it looks like a placard and with the quote below it fits good.
I personally don't know that guy (I googled, well I'm not from the USA so it's no wonder that I don't know him.) so I can't say if the design fits with this person. But just rating what I can see you did a great job. Cheers!
